As our Learning Partner evaluating the expansion of the AllChild Impact Programme into Wigan, the Coram Institute has produced a summary report sharing insights from the first year of our two‑year learning partnership. The report assesses the programme’s setup, implementation, and delivery in Wigan, and explores the emerging impacts on children and young people, their families, and the wider local system. The midterm findings indicate strong early progress. Successful co‑design and deep community engagement - underpinned by extensive listening and collaboration with local stakeholders - have supported the development of positive relationships with schools, families, and local services, and helped establish a model that reflects Wigan’s context and needs. Emerging evidence points to growing trust between children and their Link Workers, early improvements in confidence and self‑regulation, positive family engagement and indications of strengthened connections across the local system.
