AllChild has an experienced, dedicated and specialist Board of Trustees who volunteer their time to govern the organisation and direct our strategy.




Sir Harvey McGrath, Chair of Trustees

Former Chairman of Man Group and Prudential plc. He is the Chairman of Big Society Capital and an experienced backer of innovative social projects, especially those working with children and young people.

Jocelyn James

A chartered accountant and formerly COO of New Philanthropy Capital, Jocelyn moved to the charity sector after a career in finance. She is also Treasurer of the young migrants’ charity, We Belong.

John Storey

A Partner at Goldman Sachs since 2008, and currently leads its equity franchise in EMEA. John joined Goldman Sachs in 2000 and has worked in London, and New York, where he supported the Harlem Children’s Zone. He now lives in West London with his family.

Andrew Levitt

Andrew is a director of Bridges Outcomes Partnerships, and is a non-exec on the boards of 10 social enterprises focused on helping individuals to improve their education, housing and employment outcomes.  Prior to his work in the UK, he led a social enterprise in Madagascar working with micro-entrepreneurs.  Andrew lives in West London with his family.

Julie Howarth

Former Executive Headteacher for Kenmont and Wendell Park Primary Schools, AllChild partner schools. Prior to her teaching career, Julie was involved in women’s health and community development and was on the board for Women and Health where her role included developing support around domestic violence within Camden.

Farial Missi

Farial is the Community Engagement Manager at Imperial College. She was born and grew up in West London where she continues to be a Community Champion building trusted relationships, and has received several awards as a testament to her dedication. Previously, she worked at AllChild where she joined as one of the first-ever Link Workers, based in Phoenix Academy for our Pilot in 2015. In this role, she helped to shape the programme and role, and then progressed to become the Deputy Head of Link Work.

Beth Humphreys

Beth is Associate Principal, Head of Primary and Designated Safeguarding Lead at King Solomon Academy (KSA), an AllChild partner school. Beth was the in-school lead for AllChild’s first cohort in the school in 2019. Before joining KSA, Beth was a secondary school English teacher and leader in multiple schools in London.

Vasco Litchfield

Currently a Managing Director at Lazard, a major financial and asset management institution. He has a particular focus on corporate finance and has advised Governments, Private Equity and PLCs. Vasco is an Anglo-Brazilian and helped fund a charity in Salvador, Brazil for kids called GEM. He is a resident of West London.

Lady Juliet Hughes-Hallett

Juliet is former Chair and now Honorary President of Smart Works, a charity that she co-founded in 2013 to give women the confidence they need to reach their full potential, secure employment and change the trajectory of their lives. She led Smart Works through a period of significant growth into the national enterprise it is today, helping over 17,000 disadvantaged women back into the workplace.

Stefan Bollinger

Stefan is a partner at Goldman Sachs, co-head of Private Wealth Management for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and has regulatory oversight of Marcus by Goldman Sachs in the UK. He is a member of the European Management Committee, the Firmwide Client and Business Standards Committee, the Firmwide Conduct Committee, the Sustainable Finance Steering Group and the Goldman Sachs Bank AG Board of Directors, co-chair of the Consumer and Wealth Management Sustainable Solutions council, and a member of the EMEA Inclusion and Diversity Council. Stefan is also a trustee of the Royal Academy of Arts and sits on the Financial Chapter Board of the Swiss American Chamber of Commerce.

Carlos Husbands

Carlos is the Director at Becauze, a Community Interest Company that aims to bring people together through community events, tackling issues such as environmental problems and changing mindsets. He is passionate about dealing with social issues that hamper young people achieving their potential. Carlos grew up and attended school in West London, and now works for the civil service in a youth engagement and diversion department in the area, helping to shape the models used to engage with young people.

Chris Wright

Former CEO of the innovative social business Catch22, Chris originally trained as a social worker and spent much of his early career working in the criminal justice system. Over his career he has become increasingly interested in how to reset public services so that they can become more agile, relational, entrepreneurial, and more local. As well as his trustee role at AllChild he is a Non-Executive Director of Lincolnshire Partnership Foundation Trust, chairs Catalyst Choices and Jobs22, and is a Non-Executive Director of Big Society Capital. He is also a trustee of Unlocked Graduates.
