Partner with us

AllChild works in partnership with organisations and charities working locally to provide additional opportunities and support to children and young people in our area.

We know there is a wealth of excellent programmes, services and providers in our communities, but sometimes children do not always get the right support at the right time.

We work with Delivery Partners that can work together to help children do well at school, develop confidence and aspirations, build positive relationships and have good mental wellbeing. Our Link Workers coordinate an individual support plan for each child we work with, informed by the school and parents.

Our Communities team commissions over 40 charities to carry out specialist support sessions to deliver every child's plan jointly with us. We believe that co-ordinating the wide variety of resources available is the best way of making sure all the children we work with have all the tools they need to thrive.

We agree to share the same values in the way that we work with children and young people, staff and volunteers and other partners and professionals. We are collaborative, local, evidence-led, accountable, and relational.

We are committed to inclusion in all of our delivery with partners, and we know that the wide range of content, programmes and experiences that our partners and their facilitators bring ultimately enables the children and young people we support to thrive.

If you are interested in being an AllChild Delivery Partner we have a joining process which involves:

  • An initial conversation to assess partnership potential
  • A meeting with the AllChild Partnership team to explore partnership fit and inclusive practice and to ensure shared principles and values
  • Review of the organisation’s evidence of programme impact and evaluation and alignment to our theory of change
  • Review of organisational policies and procedures, including safeguarding, health and safety, governance arrangements, insurance and business accounts
  • Collection of recent participant testimonials and references
  • Compliance with our safer recruitment policy for partners and facilitators including ID and DBS requirements

We work with partners in three ways:

  1. We commission Delivery Partners to deliver programmes in schools.
  2. Our Link Workers 'link' our children and their families to the services already in place locally.
  3. And we run trips and activity programmes with local organisations in school holidays.

If you are interested in working in partnership with us, please drop us a line!

Partnership examples:

The Reclaimed Project

Since 2018, AllChild has partnered with the Reclaimed Project, a woodwork programme that builds young people’s positivity, confidence and problem-solving abilities in small group sessions.

Sessions with Reclaimed challenged one young person to problem solve independently and saw her rise to this challenge. She showed great pride in her work and continued sessions during lockdown over a video platform, giving her valuable time to create art together with her family.”

The Lyric Hammersmith

AllChild has formed a close relationship with The Lyric Theatre in Hammersmith. The Lyric is a key part of the community and provides great opportunities for local families and children to engage with the arts on their doorstep. Before COVID-19, they reserved a bursary space on each of their weekly drama, dance and music workshops and their holiday workshops for AllChild children, enabling these children to access the arts and The Lyric to expand their community outreach. The Lyric Theatre continues to hold bursary places for young people on our programme, building their confidence and giving them the opportunity to form friendships with other children in the community.
