When passion meets pedal power, incredible things happen.
Last week, Team Permira took on the London to Brighton Cycle Ride - and smashed their fundraising target in support of AllChild.
At 5:50am on Sunday morning, the cyclists gathered on Clapham Common to take on the London to Brighton Cycle Ride. Just a few hours later, they rolled triumphantly into Brighton – tired, exhilarated, and fuelled by the knowledge that their efforts would make a real difference for the children and young people supported by AllChild.
We’re delighted to share that, including matching from the Permira Foundation, Team Permira has raised over £12,000.
Robin Bell-Jones, Head of Permira’s London Office reflected on the partnership and their experience, sharing:
“Since beginning our partnership with AllChild in 2024, we’ve been deeply inspired by the incredible impact they’re making for children and families, and by their ambitious vision for national growth. Our support goes beyond funding, with colleagues across Permira providing strategic guidance, mentoring, and technical expertise, helping AllChild strengthen their organisation as they expanded their impact to Wigan."
This passion for making a real difference was clearly reflected in the effort the team put into the ride.
“We are so proud of this partnership and look forward to building on it together, helping AllChild reach even more communities and schools across the UK in the years ahead.”
From everyone at AllChild, we’d like to extend heartfelt thanks to the riders for their determination, to all the supporters who donated, and to Permira for their ongoing partnership and commitment.
Together, every child and young person can flourish.
