AllChild’s Innovation Director, Joe Prendiville, has begun a 12‑month secondment to the Cabinet Office, joining the newly created Office for the Impact Economy.
Joe has been part of AllChild for eight years, helping shape our approach to place-based partnerships, collaborative delivery, and the practical tools that support better outcomes for children and young people. His secondment marks an exciting opportunity to share that experience in a new national context.
The Office for the Impact Economy represents a growing commitment to approaches that bring sectors together, align resources around place, and focus on measurable impact. This emphasis strongly reflects the way AllChild works with local partners to improve the systems that wrap around children, young people, and families.
During his secondment, Joe will lead work to develop an offer that supports place‑based impact partnerships across the country. This aligns closely with the learning built through AllChild’s delivery, evaluation, and partnership work over many years.
Joe’s secondment creates a valuable link between AllChild and a national programme exploring how to build stronger, more joined‑up systems for children and young people. Throughout the year, we will stay connected to his work and share insights from this emerging agenda with our partners, funders and communities.
We look forward to learning from Joe’s experiences and seeing how this new focus on impact and collaboration might help strengthen local systems and shape better outcomes for children and young people.
