At Toni Marie Yoga, we use yoga, breathwork and mindfulness practices to support children and young people with their emotional wellbeing.

Our sessions create a safe, calm space where young people can slow down, connect with their bodies, and learn practical tools to manage stress and anxiety. Yoga helps young people to build confidence and resilience that they can carry with them into their everyday lives at school and at home.

Support provision for young people in Greater Manchester

Our partnership with AllChild has allowed us to bring these practices directly to the children and young people who can benefit from them the most. Being part of the opportunity provision on the Impact Programme means our sessions are embedded within a wider network of support and opportunities for young people in Greater Manchester.

Through this collaboration, we’ve been able to reach pupils who may not otherwise have access to wellbeing programmes, helping them develop tools for emotional regulation and self-care.

Being part of the programme has also strengthened our connections within the local community, creating opportunities to work alongside schools, educators and other organisations who share the same commitment to supporting young people.

One of the most powerful aspects of the programme is seeing the transformation in young people over time. Children who initially struggle to sit still or feel overwhelmed often begin to develop greater concentration and emotional awareness.

Teachers frequently notice improvements in focus and behaviour, as well as the ability to manage difficult feelings. For the young people themselves, the sessions often become a moment of calm in their day, and the studio becomes a place where they feel safe and supported.

Increasing reach and presence

Looking ahead, we are excited to continue developing our work with AllChild and expanding the reach of our programmes so that more young people can access the benefits of yoga. We are particularly interested in building further partnerships with schools and community organisations, and in developing new wellbeing initiatives that support children’s emotional resilience both in and beyond the classroom.
